Summary

Reporting to the Workforce Development Manager, the Enrollment Coordinator identifies and evaluates client needs to determine for which program(s) an individual may qualify. They review client paperwork and collect supporting documentation as required to document and determine eligibility. The Enrollment Coordinator participates in outreach and recruitment events as a Goodwill representative to attract suitable participants.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct enrollment assessments, including reading, math, and risk-related evaluations, to determine participant eligibility, service readiness, and appropriate program placement.



  • Schedule and facilitate enrollment appointments to collect demographic and intake data, review program options, and complete necessary documentation for a seamless WDS handoff.



  • Monitor the online referral portal (e.g., Tally) for new submissions and conduct follow-up phone outreach within 48 hours of the Intake Receptionist's initial email contact.



  • Review participant records for completeness and verify documentation in accordance with grant and program eligibility requirements.



  • Refer eligible participants to WDS, Digital Skills Training, or GAI programs based on individual needs, interests, and goals-ensuring timely, supportive handoffs.



  • Document all assessments, referrals, and interactions accurately in Salesforce and maintain up-to-date case records.



  • Collaborate closely with the Intake Receptionist to ensure a trauma-informed, coordinated intake experience.



  • Fill in at the front desk during Intake Receptionist breaks or absences, providing limited phone, visitor, and walk-in coverage as needed. WDS staff may assist when appropriate.



  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of program eligibility criteria, service pathways, and community resources to support informed participant referrals.



  • Participate in staff meetings and training to remain current on program updates, intake processes, and compliance requirements.



  • Assist with occasional evening or off-site outreach activities to promote program awareness and engage new participants.




Work Environment

This job operates in varied environments which may include store, warehouse, mobile workforce unit, and office. Work environments will include indoor and outdoor locations with potential weather extremes. This role routinely operates office equipment.

Physical Demand

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is an active role. The employee must have the ability to communicate verbally and apply active listening skills, lift up to 25 pounds, bend and possibly stand for prolonged periods of time as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Office hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however some flexibility of the schedule is permissible with supervisor approval. As a non-exempt position, occasional night-time or weekend work will be required. Occasional day-time travel to supported locations is required.

The Ideal Candidate will have:




  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant workforce/social services experience preferred



  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal



  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate individuals from diverse backgrounds



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce (or other case management systems), and online scheduling platforms



  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism



  • Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and working with justice-involved or high-barrier populations



  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail



  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
