Job Title: Sr. Mortgage Closer Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Job Description As a Sr. Mortgage Closer supporting various channels within the Mortgage Fulfillment Division (MFD), you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and accurate loan processing. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with deep mortgage industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: * Perform complex data and document validation * Handle escalated or complex calls, emails, or chat sessions * Complete appraisal eligibility tasks * Evaluate loan applications for compliance with product guidelines * Collaborate with multiple departments to expedite processing and resolve issues * Perform other related duties as assigned * Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's culture and values Note: This role does not involve direct communication with borrowers. Required Skills & Experience * Proven experience in the mortgage industry, particularly in mortgage closing * Proficiency with Encompass loan origination software * Familiarity with FHA and VA loan processes * Experience as a Closer/Funder * Strong understanding of loan servicing and compliance Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
