Director, HCP Marketing, Alzheimer's Disease will lead several core marketing, strategy, and lifecycle planning projects focused on the upcoming subcutaneous launch and the subsequent preclinical indication. This role represents a key opportunity for a talented, passionate marketer to lead important and innovative commercial work streams for a highly visible AD brand.

Job Summary: Director, HCP Marketing, Alzheimer's Disease will lead several core marketing, strategy, and lifecycle planning projects focused on the upcoming subcutaneous launch and the subsequent preclinical indication. This role represents a key opportunity for a talented, passionate marketer to lead important and innovative commercial work streams for a highly visible AD brand.

Essential Functions /Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the go-to-market/expansion strategy for Primary Care in AD. Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Operations, and SOC teams and leverage learnings from current PCP work to advise on long-term PCP strategy.
  • Lead agency partners in the development and execution of the HCP messaging for the subcutaneous initiation launch.
  • Partner with the HCP team, sales team, and sales training to create relevant resources to support the subcutaneous initiation launch.
  • Lead internal business partners and agency partners in the development of the omnichannel content needed to support the subcutaneous launch (website, emails, banners, 3rd party content, etc.).
  • Lead the development of the subcutaneous digital experience across HCPs, Consumers, and SOC to drive adherence and safety as patients start therapy. Partner with Market Access, Eisai Patient Support, and our Specialty Pharmacy partners in the design and delivery of this solution.
  • Partner in the ongoing monitoring of current HCP strategy (messaging and campaign) and advise on opportunities for evolution and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with our Global Marketing, Clinical Development, and Government Affairs on the go-to-market strategy for the preclinical indication and the associated environmental shaping plan.
  • Work effectively with alliance partners and continue to advance US partnership with collaboration partner. Copromote experience preferred.
  • Participate in the development of brand and business plans.
  • Champion AD innovation and strategic investment opportunities that advance the business and serve to fulfill our mission of human health care (hhc).
  • Represent the brand with internal and external stakeholders, including Global and Regional colleagues. Ensure appropriate strategic direction is communicated to and executed by internal business partners and external agencies
  • Actively participate in cross-functional project teams involving Marketing, Sales, Managed Markets/Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, PR, agencies, actively soliciting team expertise and input in the development and execution of brand strategies

Qualifications/Requirements:

(Describe the following criteria necessary to effectively perform the position:

  • Bachelor's Degree required - MBA desirable
  • 8+ years relevant pharmaceutical experience or professional experience in marketing, consulting, pharma, life sciences or related area
  • Work experience in Alzheimer's therapeutic area is strongly preferred but not required
  • 5+ direct marketing experience required that includes recent launch experience, digital marketing, life cycle planning, finance/forecasting/budget management, sales force training, IC plan development, KPI tracking, supply chain management, familiarity with channel strategies is strongly preferred
  • Experience/familiarity with buy and bill, GPO distribution and hospital P&T, landscape of infusion service reimbursement is preferred.
  • Experience in development and implementation of brand plans
  • Experience working effectively in a culturally diverse matrix environment; strong ability to influence
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional project teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
  • Must be a strong strategic thinker, able to assess a range of variables including market trends and opportunities, competition, research progress, etc., in order to craft strong near- and longer-term marketing strategies. This requires strong analytical skills, combined with a strong market orientation to identify breakthrough opportunities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal and regulatory issues impacting pharmaceutical product marketing as well as the dynamics driving the US health care environment
  • Able to integrate business knowledge, financial knowledge, and analyses of available information to make sound business decisions. Can apply financial analysis to build business cases that drive quality decision making and management processes.
  • Travel is estimated at 30% of time, including some weekend travel

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Eisai Salary Transparency Language:

The base salary range for the Director, HCP Marketing, Alzheimer's Disease is from :213,500-280,200 Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in : Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan & Eisai Inc. Long Term Incentive Plan.

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
