Production Technician - Apopka, FL

We have an opportunity for a Production Technician to join our Apopka, FL team. You will be responsible for assembly, testing and packing of manufactured goods and kitted products. Interested candidates, who meet the requirements below, are encouraged to apply today!

You will:

  • Follow all documented safety rules and practices.
  • Assemble product at a fast pace to meet production goals.
  • Correct use provided tools to assemble products.
  • Understand and verify Critical To Quality (CTQ) specifications.
  • Wire units for testing and run test programs to verify product quality.
  • Verify air pressure gauges and torque settings.
  • Verify parts to ensure they are correct per BOM & Pick List.
  • Assembly of the main unit with knowledge of various components and product variation.
  • Print and apply labels per drawing or standard work.
  • Report production and scrap.
  • Use of proper lifting techniques both manually and with lift assist devices.
  • Packing of finished units.
  • Train new team members on all jobs.
  • Perform daily 5S activities.
  • Overtime may be required.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Assembly experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic skills in mathematics, computers, electrical components.
  • Use of hand, pneumatic and power tools.
  • Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Physical requirements: Must be able stand up to 8 hours per day along with bending and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift over shoulder height. Ability to perform repetitive assembly processes. Must be able to communicate effectively with other team members. Appropriate PPE must be worn in the production area.

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $17.00. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
