We invite you to join our dynamic team as a Senior Controls Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting plant instrumentation and control systems. Our ideal candidate possesses advanced knowledge in programming and troubleshooting, is proactive in making process improvement recommendations, and thrives in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will serve as the Senior Controls Technician, tackling complex problems and integrating system changes. Your technical expertise will be essential in replacing electrical components, executing PLC and HMI projects, and upgrading equipment and components. You will excel in identifying, repairing, and calibrating instrumentation, as well as troubleshooting communication networks such as ID/DeviceNet/Data Highway/Can I/O. Your innovative mindset will be invaluable as you lead the development of new ideas and concepts, participate in cross-functional planning sessions, and recommend technology improvements. As a Senior Controls Technician, you will also play a pivotal role in supporting Plant Engineering projects, acting as a Controls Lead or systems integrator, and executing continuous improvement projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing vendor proposals, analyzing technical and cost data, and presenting test results for potential applications. You will lead or support cross-functional teams in building or improving capital assets and commercializing new products, ensuring projects progress on schedule and within budget.
