Hydraulic Technician - Clovis, CA

Objective:

The Hydraulic Technician will report to the Lead Technician and/or the Director of Operations. The Hydraulic Technician must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications. Hydraulic Technician should be able to provide clear and concise written documentation and will be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Hydraulic Technician will properly and safely use the tools and equipment within the shop as needed and utilize the safety equipment as required for each task and keep a clean and safe work area daily.

Job Description:

Hydraulic Technician will be responsible for the evaluation, troubleshooting, repair/overhaul and testing of various aircraft Hydraulic Components. Technician needs to be able to determine feasibility methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Technicians will also define and provide information and coordinate all necessary parts, components, installation & interface requirements.

Requirements/Experience:

• Min 2+ years of experience in hydraulic component repair & overhaul
• Comfortable working with several types of aircraft hydraulic fluids and oils and pressures up to 4000 PSI
• Able use and read various precision measuring equipment such as, Caliper, Vernier Micrometers, air/bore gauges.
• NDT experience a plus
• Elevated level of motivation and ethics
• Works well in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Military or Trade School a plus
• Must be able to clearly document maintenance performed on required aviation forms
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform work within estimated hours.
• You must be flexible to work long hours including weekends as needed.
• Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write English clearly and distinctly.
