GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager - Business Analytics (SAP Business Objects) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to support business analytics and decision-making processes. The Manager will own developing and documenting processes, data visualizations, and data models. The Manager will work closely with cross-functional partners to understand their data and reporting needs, transforming those needs into meaningful/actionable dashboards. This role requires a blend of technical, analytical, and communication skills; a strong technical background in SAP BO development, experience in designing and implementing BO solutions, and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data analysis & reporting needs and design SAP BO solutions to meet those needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data, analyze existing reports, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to understand their reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain SAP BO reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the proper integration of SAP BI/BO solutions with other systems.
• Ensure quality and integrity of SAP BO solutions, including data accuracy and consistency, and adherence to corporate & industry standards.
• Maintain technical documentation of SAP BO solutions, including specifications, design documents, and test plans.
• Manage and monitor scheduled execution of routine processes and reports, diagnosing and fixing any report-related issues while maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
• Provide training and support for SAP BI solutions, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Keep up-to-date with SAP BI/BO tools & technologies and participate in the evaluation & selection of SAP BI/BO tools/technologies, providing recommendations for their adoption as appropriate.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with all customers, key stakeholders and departmental colleagues.
• Available for on-call and provide technical support for systems related issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of experience in technical roles, including reporting/dashboard and data management.
• At least 5 years' experience developing SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence suite.
• At least 2 years' experience in the Healthcare industry supporting reporting and analytics
• Experience with BO Supervisor, Designer, InfoView, WebIntelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Broadcast Agent, and SQL
• Expertise with developing complex dashboards containing aggregates and rolled up data, with proven ability to learn new tools
• Demonstrates understanding of database design and data granularity, with the ability to design/develop aggregated data structures
• Experience translating business requirements into workable reports and dashboards
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data marts, relational and dimensional data modeling, star schema design, fact and dimension tables.
• Experience validating report output
• Knowledge of Healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Git repository
• Programming experience in R, Python
• Experience with data visualization development, such as Qlik, Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with Facets

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
