PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION



  • Recognize sport, lifestyle, consumer, & cultural insights to identify business opportunities within Football and Dugout (Baseball and Softball)
  • Heavily influence category direction and drive product excellence, vision, and execution
  • Build and evolve strategies based on insights, trends, and data to win with consumers and gain market share
  • Steer the cross-functional product creation team to deliver the category vision
  • Lead and develop direct reports and category teammates



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead and drive product excellence at all stages or the product process to win in Football and Dugout Globally
  • Drive credibility through the lens of sport and culture
  • Establish trends for tomorrow through a deep understanding of the consumer with industry leading product stories
  • Set and manage strategic FTW category direction; ensure cross-functional alignment across key KPIs, i.e. margin, sell-thru, ideal range size, net sales, market share, buy readiness, margin etc.
  • Serve as an expert in product creation, system readiness, and calendars to ensure deliverables at key milestones
  • Identify new business opportunities to drive innovation and / or commerciality across key consumer segments and retail channels
  • Show leadership through living the brand values while fostering an empathetic and strong performance culture
  • Manage a team and develop their functional and social skills using available resources to create a top performing team
  • Manage and develop optimum relationship with cross-functional teams to ensure creation of industry leading products and optimized operational models
  • Analyze and report category business performance to ensure achievement of category KPIs

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • College degree, preferably in marketing/business /textile/fashion
  • Minimum of 7 years Product Marketing experience with FTW or comparable background
  • Experience in managing and developing direct reports
  • Strong, proven leadership skills
  • Experience in marketing, trade, or sales is helpful
  • Fluent in English
  • PC skills (MS Office programs)
