A Day in the Life of a CPAP Specialist Coordinator

This role combines supervisory duties with direct patient care, overseeing CPAP Specialists and ensuring quality service delivery. The Coordinator guides staff in patient assignments, equipment use, and compliance with training and standards. Regular tasks include setting up PAP devices, managing supplies, verifying referrals and insurance, and updating EMR systems. Collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams is vital to ensure patient needs are met and adjustments are communicated clearly. The position balances administrative oversight with hands-on responsibilities in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications
Education and ExperienceRequired
  • Prior clinical or fieldwork experience must provide clear evidence of clinical skills consistent with basic entry-level positions
  • 2 years of DME experience
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Compensation and BenefitsThe pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
