What is the role about?

This multi-role position is primarily responsible for the hands-on analysis, development, and support of Endress+Hauser Gas Measurement products throughout their lifecycle. Working within the Supply Chain and Logistics Departments to optimize storage and purchasing plans across our fast-paced Gas Measurement Division. Includes collaboration with multi-national, cross-functional teams to create efficiencies and reduce costs while optimizing our deliverables to our clients.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Maximize inventory control plan for efficiency and availability including inventory cycle counts.
  • Develop deep understanding of end-to-end material flow.
  • Contribute to cross-functional project teams and participate in reviews with peers and stakeholders.
  • Optimize local supply chain processes while coordinating with global supply chain network.
  • Address technical requirements, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and provide time and cost estimations for prospective improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, certifications, and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform all expediting duties with our factories and 3rd party vendors.
  • Prepare documents, reports, correspondence, and other content to support roles.
  • Provide supporting role in Vendor Management and Sourcing.
  • Utilize SAP, BAP and DOMO tools to provide accurate and timely status reports.

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain fields.
  • Travel: up to 5%

You may have (preferred):

  • Experience with coordination of material movements in a production environment and multiple storage locations.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving, algorithm development, analytical, design, and debugging skills, with the ability to thoroughly analyze technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative.
  • Collaborates effectively with others, sometimes across departments, to achieve organizational goals and enhance customer experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly, articulating complex technical issues, and engaging with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment.
  • Possesses a passion for continuous learning and development, and a desire to explore new opportunities and expand professional horizons.
  • Culturally aware and sensitive to cultural differences, capable of working effectively in cross-cultural teams.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and influence teams, build trust and credibility, and effectively coach and guide individuals without relying on formal authority.
