Summary of Job Description:

The Human Resources Manager (Support Center) position is responsible for developing and coaching leadership, including partnering in People Planning, developing and executing staffing plans, and providing training courses to leadership and associates in assigned corporate departments. This position also facilitates resolution of associate relations issues.The Human Resources Manager participates in enterprise-wide HR projects and special initiatives and may lead smaller projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with corporate departments in the facilitation of People Planning involving the development and coaching of associates; evaluate internal candidates for vacant/new positions, and identifies high potential associates.
  • Coach and advise the leadership team for assigned corporate departments on hiring high quality associates compatible with PRG mission and culture, conducting effective associate performance evaluations, assisting associates with career and personal development, and resolving associate relations issues, conducting investigations as needed,
  • Develop and execute corporate staffing plan, working closely with corporate department heads, to ensure both internal and external pipeline of candidates; forecasts staffing needs to fill vacant positions on a timely basis and provide for future company growth; analyzes local labor market and identifies special market dynamics; and sources external candidates using a variety of sources (internet, job fairs, etc.).Partners with internal and external recruiters as necessary.
  • Coach leadership on associate relations to achieve problem resolution without litigation; conducts timely and thorough investigations involving associate complaints and disputes and prepares documentation of issues; resolves issues. Involves Director in achieving resolution of complex associate relations issues.
  • Conduct a variety of training classes to enhance associate capabilities, including training related to compliance, recruiting, talent management, etc.May also conduct orientation sessions for new hires to ensure retention and understanding of PRG mission and culture.Follow up with new hires to ensure adequate and appropriate training opportunities and courage their participation.
  • Participate in HR projects and special initiatives with enterprise-wide impact and may lead smaller projects and special initiatives (i.e., less than enterprise-wide impact).

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; business and/or HR majors and PHR/SPHR or equivalent preferred.Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.
  • Minimum five years of HR Generalist experience in employee relations, training and development, and recruiting, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment, with increasing management responsibility.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
  • If hired, completion of annual store training.

Pay Range: M2: $112,500 - $158,000 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
