Right of Way Project Manager

Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Indianapolis, IN. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Manage land survey projects in the areas of transportation/right-of-way
• Communicate with clients and internal groups/employees in a professional manner
• Give direction to survey crews and technicians
• Review the work of other surveying staff
• Take ownership of the monthly revenue and performance of assigned projects
• Preparation of Location Control Route Survey Plats
• Review of title and encumbrance reports
• Preparation of Right of Way Parcel Plats (Exhibit "B") and Legal Descriptions (Exhibit "A")
• Preparation of additional Right of Way Engineering documents, Parcel Documentation, Area Computations, L10 and Fee Taking Memos)
• Right of Way Plan Development
• Process field data into topographic surveys
• Analyze record documents and establish layout property lines, alignments, and easements
• Download LiDAR, aerial photography, and other GIS data from public domain
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $100K - $130K/ year

Hours: 40 hrs / Week

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of Right of Way surveying experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the current version of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Minimum 2 years of Microsoft Office experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Boundary, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic, utility, and construction staking.
• Knowledge of MicroStation
• INDOT prequalification in Right-of-Way Engineering
