Job Title: Event Manager

Duration: 4 Months

Location: Bellevue (preferred), 98006

Can be in Overland Park or Frisco (4 days onsite)

Position Summary:

  • This role will help manage the event execution process, including planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication of such events.
  • This person will be responsible for playing a major role in executing events that support the client's brand, business, and communication objectives.
  • The role will work cross-functionally with multiple internal departments, properties, agencies, and leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute internal and/or external events from concept to post-event, independently or in collaboration with the events team.
  • Establish event messaging that aligns with the event goals and objectives-provide an example of what goals & objectives should be.
  • Help manage an event agency.
  • Work closely with our event agency on event production, creative, and event execution (ex, help facilitate weekly sync calls with the agency, coordinate processes, help build event briefs).
  • Support and grow relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Build and grow relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs and marketing events strategy (Ex, Rewards and Recognition, Corp Comm, Consumer, and client for Business Teams).
  • Help prepare plans for managers and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and help create event debriefs, timelines, and event strategies/plans for key stakeholders and the events team.
  • Establish key performance indicators, measure, and deliver results.
  • Understand event goals and desired results to create key performance indicators and measurable results.
  • Ensure the events strategy aligns with the event goals & objectives
  • Create post-event debriefs and assist in event budget reconciliations.
  • Compile feedback with the events team, key stakeholders, and agencies post-event to create a comprehensive event debrief to help with the planning for future events/projects.
  • Review and assist with event budget reconciliations with the event agency and Sr Manager.
  • Manage and understand event budgets
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.


Must-Haves:

  • Event Management, Change Management.
  • 2-4 years of experience in developing and executing events on behalf of big brands.
  • Candidates with agency and brand-side experience are preferred.
  • Bachelor's in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field


Preferred Skills:

  • Telecom experience is a plus.
  • Experience executing events across all targets (trade/industry, consumer, and media) is a plus.
