*Job Description*
This position is subject to export control requirements. Manage export shipments utilizing freight forwarders. * Review customs information, including HTS, ECCN, etc. for accuracy. * Prepare export shipping documents for all shipments * Determine proper tariff coding for freight per government requirements. * Coordinate with the customer's freight forwarder on ship date. * Provide weights, carton count, skid count, and dims on orders. * Email/Fax customs documents. Review the completed Shipper's Export Declaration for shipment. Analyze shipment paperwork and answer detailed questions on C.O.O. and B.O.M. * Send pre-alert documents * Confirm Shipments in SAP. Operational Support * "Troubleshoot" small package shipping problems and drive corrective actions with the carrier. * Advise shipping dock on carrier routing for all domestic and international shipments. Verify Hazmat Declarations are correct and in compliance, including proper UN #, shipping name, class, packing group and other required information. Logistical support for 3M Scott Safety Team * Estimate and provide quotes to sales and marketing. * Review and verify shipments that meet all compliance requirements. * Confirm customs info that is supplied is correct *Education & Experience:* Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
