Great Hill Solutions is seeking a full-time Resident, Virtual and Mobile Education Support Coordinator in the Education Support Team, Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) in Monterey, CA onsite support. The Education Support Coordinator is often the first point of contact for our international students' needs during their time in residence. Support includes tasks and activities prior to the course, during course execution, and course close out. Seeking candidates with demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and experience in culturally diverse environments. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Gathering international defense/security civilian and Military Student (IMS) information and data, preparing foreign national visitor forms, ensuring base access, facilitating lodging and transportation on arrangements, and supporting basic reviews and updates for course information and materials.
- Prepare, in accordance with published base security timeline instructions, the list of any participants requiring access to the Naval Support Activity Monterey (NSAM) or other access-controlled facilities.
- Prepare participant transportation schedule with pick-up, arrival, departure and return times from the airport and to course designated venues.
- Coordinate hotel arrangements at designated course lodging, alerting Government if alternative lodging arrangements are necessary.
- Prepare name tags and welcome packets for course participants.
- Prepare and assemble graduation certificates.
- Support government as needed to interface with SCOs for timely IMS arrival information and to ensure IMS are aware of local arrangements and other routine administrative matters.
- Maintain and update IMS rosters.
- Event coordination.
- Print, assemble, and package materials for use during the event or course.
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a field related to international relations, business administration, communications, or related discipline. Significant relevant experience can serve as a substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of two years of program management experience for a University, Major Corporate Division, or Small Business. Demonstrated recent experience working in program operational and logistical functions such as event planning and coordination, administrative and clerical support functions. Recent experience is defined as within the last two years.
- Currently has a Secret Level Clearance.
- Must be based in or around Monterey, CA.
- Occasional schedule flexing, shifting, and/or overtime work may be required on the nights/weekends.

- Flexibility to change tasks and deadlines as well as manage workload.
- Demonstrate ability to manage risk and recommend solutions in an effective manner.
- Experience with collecting data, conducting analysis, preparing reports, and utilizing advanced Excel tools to enhance analysis and reporting requirements, and preparing results for dissemination to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain professionalism within the team, with the client, instructors, students, and external vendors through all means of communication in a diverse and international professional environment.
- Able to work independently and to collaborate within and across teams.
- Knowledge and ability to operate Windows based programs, including Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (PPT), a personal computer (PC) or Macintosh (MAC), printer, and scanner.
