Senior Network Engineer

FedData Technology Solutions, LLC is seekin a Full Time on call Senior Network Engineer to support sales engineering requirements (including technical exchanges with the customer to design solutions and working and finalizing quotes with CISCO), hands on installation of systems at customer locations, the achieving of OEM Certifications, and technical presentations/discussions as required to the technical workforce and sales workforce. Engineer will also associate their Cisco CCIE Certification with FedData Technology Solutions, LLC.

Provide technical support to the FDTS sales workforce by reviewing designs, recommending network products in support of sales, generating CISCO quotes based on network designs.
• Interaction with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Supporting installation of Networks in customer facilities.

* Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.

* Candidate must be eligible for TS//SI clearance sponsorship.

* Bachelor's of Science degree in relevant field of study.

* Active CISCO CCIE certification

* Must have at least 10 years of experience supporting network and systems design and implementation.

Desired/Preferred Skills:

* Active TS/SI clearance.

* Masters of Science degree in relevant field.

Pay Scale:

The salary for this position ranges from $170,000 - $230,000. The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
