JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Analytical Operations Associate will be supporting the Analytical Operations (AO) team for the execution of characterization testing, and this is a hands-on laboratory-based position located in South San Francisco.
Primary Responsibilities
* Execute assays within the AO portfolio (ddPCR, ELISA, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, and more) per SOPs and/or WIs
* Prepare controls for assays and use JMP to set ranges
* Complete daily entry reports in Benchling following ALCOA+
* Supporting AO team with their development experiments if any
* Participate in lab management of samples and consumables
* Accurately document assay results and analyze data
* Additional duties as assigned
Must-Have/Required
* Relevant Science or Engineering discipline with 0-2+ years" biopharmaceutical industry experience
* Successful in operating independently and in a team function
* Basic use of Excel or similar functions
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good documentation, data organization, and attention to detail
May Have/Preferred
* Prior experience with ELISA and/or ddPCR
* Basic understanding of statistics
* Prior experience with JMP
* Experience in an ALCOA+ environment
* Prior experience with Benchling or equivalent electronic lab notebook
* Prior AAV gene therapy analytical assay experience
