Responsible for conducting and overseeing sleep studies and polysomnography procedures including comprehensive sleep assessments, records physiological data during sleep studies, and assists in diagnosing and treating various sleep disorders. Additionally, provides leadership and guidance to junior technologists and ensures the efficient operation of the sleep laboratory.
Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Perform and interpret sleep studies, including overnight polysomnograms, multiple sleep latency tests (MSLTs), maintenance of wakefulness tests (MWTs), and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT).
