The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a marketing platform lead as part of our ongoing growth and digital transformation. We are looking to add a Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Lead to our Sales Operations team, reporting to the CRM manager and partnering closely with the Marketing team. This role is key to enhancing how we leverage our customer data to drive better decision-making, deliver personalized client experiences, and support our strategic business initiatives.

As the D365 Customer Insights Lead, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Dynamics 365 Customer Insights platform (Data & Journeys). Your focus will be to ensure the system is integrated seamlessly with our CRM and other enterprise systems in partnership with our Marketing and Business Applications teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly marketing, sales and strategic growth teams to ensure data accuracy, foster collaboration, and enhance our overall customer engagement capabilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for training the marketing team, maintaining the CRM integration, and implementing NPS/CSAT surveys using D365 Customer Voice.

What You'll Do



  • Lead and manage the Dynamics 365 Customer Insights platform (Data & Journeys), including configuring data sources, unifying customer profiles, creating segments, and optimizing customer journey orchestration in partnership with the Digital Marketing Specialist.
  • Provide technical guidance across the organization, acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for Customer Insights, offering solutions, best practices, and troubleshooting support.
  • Partner with Business Applications to integrate data from Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales, Marketing) and other internal systems into Customer Insights to provide a unified, comprehensive view of customers and facilitate better decision-making across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Business Applications to monitor and maintain the health of the D365 Customer Insights platform, troubleshoot any data issues, and ensure the platform's scalability and performance to meet evolving business needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, analytics, and strategy to define business requirements, optimize customer segmentation, and develop predictive models to enhance targeted engagement strategies.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist to configure and manage customer journeys and segments using D365 Customer Insights - Journeys, ensuring they are personalized, automated, and aligned with business goals to improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the CRM team to maintain data integrity, support regular data cleaning processes, and ensure smooth integration between Customer Insights and CRM for accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide training and enablement for the marketing team, helping them leverage Customer Insights for campaign optimization, customer segmentation, and targeted outreach.
  • Collaborate with the CRM Innovations, Sales Operations Center of Excellence, and Marketing teams to educate Sales on how to interpret and use marketing data available in D365 CRM.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, ensuring that data is handled securely and in accordance with privacy laws.
  • Support the implementation of NPS/CSAT surveys using D365 Customer Voice, integrating survey data back into Customer Insights to refine customer segmentation and journey strategies.



What We Expect from You



  • 3-5 years hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (Data & Journeys), including platform configuration, data management, segmentation, and journey orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, and best practices in customer segmentation, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
  • Experience integrating Customer Insights with Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales, Marketing), other business systems, and Customer Voice for NPS/CSAT surveys.
  • Knowledge of SDLC best practices, ensuring that data integrations, platform customizations, and updates follow structured, scalable processes that align with business needs.
  • Ability to support and enable marketing teams, assisting them in leveraging Customer Insights for targeted campaigns, data analysis, and customer engagement.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data quality, ensuring accurate customer profiles and segmentation within complex enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical data and insights into easily understandable language for business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, balancing technical requirements with business goals.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.


Preferred:



  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform tools (D365 Sales, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse) and related integrations.
  • Familiarity with engineering or B2B professional services environments, with a focus on delivering high-value, customer-centric solutions.
  • Microsoft Certifications (not a requirement):

    • o Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Functional Consultant Associate
    • o Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
    • o D365 Fundamentals (CRM)

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $91,100 - $123,200
