GENERAL SUMMARY:
The ER Tech Assistant supports patient care in the emergency department under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Provider. This role provides hands-on assistance with clinical and non-clinical tasks, ensuring timely, safe, and compassionate care for patients of all acuity levels. Responsibilities are performed within the scope of practice and hospital protocols.

    Assist with basic care needs (bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility).

    Record and report vital signs and observations.

    Assist with procedures such as wound care, splinting, and EKGs.

    Collect and label specimens.
