Job Summary:



As the Integrated Supply Chain Site Lead for our Signal Technology business unit,you will support the mission of our nation's defense systems and its service members. You will be part of a 20-person team, including 3-4 direct reports, that pushes processing technology that accelerates innovation to address challenging aerospace and defense missions. Your efforts contribute to delivery of technologies and expertise for sensor processing, command and control, mission computing, and digitally integrated communication systems. Our products ensure the safety of those that serve and protect the world we live in by making the technology and "innovation that matters;" the world's most advanced defense platforms.



You will be a key stakeholder in helping to achieve Mercury's focus areas of predictable performance, a thriving growth engine, margin expansion, and cash release through delivery performance and inventory management. Job Responsibilities:




  • Drive action at the site to meet or exceed key performance measures across MRP health including, but not limited to, PO's placed on time, kit starts on time, schedule adherence (on time to promise), on time to MRP (supply and demand) and aging operations throughout the value stream


  • Manage the day-to-day activities across team of 20 supply chain professionals, planning, purchasing and material handling, to ensure that all risks to the production schedule are resourced and mitigated through the use of a clear to build


  • Drive risk mitigation and opportunity strategies that enable the business to meet the annual operating plan (AOP) and work to resolve all constraints within the supply chain value stream


  • Maintain all material planning factors to ensure system health. Analyze the data integrity of master data (item attributes, BOM's and routings) to ensure proper MPS/MRP planning


  • Drive inventory reduction activities to improve cash and increase turns while maintaining accuracy of inventory for entire site


  • Lead Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) with monthly assessments of supply and demand constraint management plans


  • Develop and manage performance to supply chain budgets



Required Qualifications:




  • Requires a BS/BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or related major


  • Typically requires 8+ years related work experience in a leadership role in aerospace and defense manufacturing


  • Experience in planning and procurement is required


  • Experience leading (direct and indirect) in a matrixed environment that establishes and maintains an effective working relationship across operations, quality, engineering, program, and business teams


  • Demonstrated leadership in a structured environment (ie. tiered meetings) that enabled continuous flow of accurate and detailed material position to ensure problems are resolved and required changes are implemented in a timely manner


  • Experience leading supply chain through AS9100/ISO 9001 audits, to include facilitation with auditors on supply chain policies and processes


  • Demonstrated experience applying supply chain management techniques, practices, processes and tools that enable production scheduling for low volume, high mix, high complexity manufacturing


  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other related tools


  • This position requires you to have or obtain a government DoD security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • High proficiency with Oracle or comparable system particularly in Supply Chain and planning transactions


  • Familiar with CPSR -Ability to drive compliance with DFARS/FAR, ITAR and company specific policies including counterfeit part prevention, traceability and cybersecurity


  • Ability to influence at all levels of an organization


  • Strong strategic, innovative, and critical thinking skills


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


  • Successful integration of new products into the manufacturing process including knowledge, experience, and proven adaptability with different manufacturing disciplines





Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Range for this Position:


* $129,600.00 - $233,300.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA


The disclosed salary range is a general guideline for Mercury team members employed at the job level at the location listed above and does not include overtime for eligible hourly employees.
