DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this professional administrative position within the Lebanon County MH/ID/EI Program, you will be responsible for overseeing and communicating with the Supports Coordination Organizations our county contracts with. Your work will ensure that management services are provided in accordance with established laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards. This includes collaborating with community agencies and providers to identify factors which impede the effectiveness or quality of case management services and develop recommendations or request remediation for changes in policy or procedures to improve services.

You will serve as both a consultant and liaison between our office and community agencies. Our team will rely on you to maintain a positive relationship with these agencies, contracted providers, state offices, and state facilities in order to promote effective case management services. You may also be expected to participate in local high profile, dual diagnosis, and complex case meetings, as well as service planning development. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
