Gundersen Health System is seeking for a dedicated Lead Scheduling Specialist! The Lead Scheduling Specialist serves as the primary trainer, resource, and mentor to a group of scheduling specialists. In partnership with the Clinical Manager, the Lead will identify and facilitate the requisition and maintenance of appropriate education materials, resources, policies, and procedures to achieve and preserve the quality, productivity, and compliance standards of the service line. Leads the Scheduling Specialists in establishing and meeting service levels, customer service measurements, managing projects and identifying barriers. Collaborates with Clinical Manager to address and remove identified barriers. Leads and supports the Scheduling Specialists in their efforts to ensure standard scheduling process is developed and followed for patient safety, quality of care and satisfaction in order to comply with service line and corporate policy. Leads the continual development and maintenance of an effective error free and outcomes infrastructure to ensure the department and organizational goals are sustained.

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3-4 years experience in an office setting requiring customer service responsibilities

  • Epic experience preferred, but not required
