DESCRIPTION OF WORK
-
As the Real Estate Specialist, you will develop and manage real property activities for the civil engineering office and provide technical consulting support. You will identify, measure, and record new and existing plant and facility systems as well as carefully read maps, plans, property descriptions, and other real property documents. You will also create and maintain the real property facility manuals, binders, and computer-based accountability records. This role requires strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to analyze and interpret real estate documentation used to present terms of offers for the transfer, sales, or lease of real estate. In addition, you will use your expertise to provide crucial guidance and support as you act as a technical advisor to the Assistant United States Property and Fiscal Officer in real property matters. - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days each pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Coraopolis.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Real Estate Technician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of technical real estate experience and an associate degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- You must be in possession of an active Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
- You must pass a favorable NCIC screening and possess one of the following for admittance to Pittsburgh Airbase: valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license; other REAL ID-compliant identification cards; alternative acceptable document such as a passport; or military/CAC/retirees' ID card.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
