Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday through Thursday
Position Summary:
The Lead Security Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of all individuals and property within the COH, Chicago campus. This position oversees and supports the security team during the third shift, helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, volunteers, visitors, students, and physical assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support third-shift security officers in daily operations.
Ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property on campus.
Respond promptly to incidents involving physical violence or active threats.
Conduct regular security rounds throughout the hospital.
Document incidents through detailed report writing, including but not limited to:
Collaborate with hospital leadership and emergency response teams as needed.
Assist in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
