Full-time | Nights | Shift: Days Vary, 6:00PM - 6:30AM

Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

The Women's Surgical Unit with renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician 2 to join the team in a full-time capacity!

Your shifts will be from 6:00PM - 6:30AM with rotating weekends or holidays.

Clinical Technician 2 Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.

  • Blood Draws
  • IV Insertion
  • Catheter / Foley insertion
  
  
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Training: Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
  
  
  
  • Virtual modules (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
  • Shifts on unit (8hrs & 12hrs)
  
  

Clinical Technician 2 Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or successful completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an Accredited RN Program and/or two years of nursing school completed
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
