Job Description

Responsible for assigning customer order ship dates, ensuring orders are processed on a daily basis according to the schedule, and coordinating/overseeing customer order loading and logistics.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Assist with updating and maintaining the production schedule under supervision.
  • Monitor sales orders and provide basic lead-time information using the ERP system.
  • Support the preparation of production schedules based on existing orders and customer priorities.
  • Participate in routine inventory tasks such as cycle counts.
  • Communicate order status and basic scheduling details with internal departments (e.g., manufacturing, customer service, logistics).
  • Help track inventory levels and incoming materials under guidance from senior staff.
  • Enter and review data to ensure order and inventory accuracy.
  • Perform basic analysis related to production timing and capacity under direction.
  • Perform other administrative or support tasks as assigned.
  • Regular attendance during scheduled shifts is required, including occasional overtime if needed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education and/or Experience


  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production control environment.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems or willingness to learn.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
