About the team

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a critical corporate function responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing administration and supervision of the enterprise-wide risk management framework and all supporting activities, including risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of all Risk Domains and supporting taxonomies, such as Strategic, Financial, People, Technology, Legal and Compliance, Reputational, and Operational Risks, including Data and Information Security, Vendor and Third-Party, and Business Continuity and Resiliency Risks. Key components of the ERM program include Risk Appetite Framework, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Issues Management, KRI Metrics, Risk Reporting, Crisis Management, and Controls Assurance Testing.

About the position

As an Enterprise Risk, Director you will be responsible for overseeing FIS' data risk management strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and safeguarding sensitive information.

What you will be doing

  • Data risk management - Development and implementation of comprehensive data risk management framework that aligns with the overarching enterprise risk framework; identify, assess, and mitigate data risks associated with information assets; establishment of policies and procedures for data governance and security.
  • Compliance and regulatory oversight (global) - Ensure compliance with relevant data management regulations and industry best practices.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Requires strong management skills, as well as strong organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills
  • 6+ years in a similar role
  • General business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
  • Ability to identify, address and resolve employee related issues
  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner
  • Skill in productivity, planning and workload management
  • Skill in negotiation regarding complex issues
  • Ability to provide information to a variety of audiences and deal effectively with issues that are confidential and sensitive in nature
  • Ability to share information with awareness of its effect on others
