About the role: As an IT Security Analyst Specialist with FIS, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures, ensuring the security of large data centers, and collaborating with the network team to deliver robust security outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)/Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), network protocols, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASBs), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), enterprise browsers, and overseeing SD-WAN security. Key Responsibilities:
Secure Network Design and Architecture:
Design and implement secure network architectures for large data centers. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect network infrastructure. Collaborate with the network team to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
Security Technology Expertise:
Manage and configure NGFWs, IPS/IDS, and other security appliances. Implement and manage SASE solutions to enhance network security. Oversee the deployment and management of CASBs and DLP solutions. Ensure the security of enterprise browsers and related technologies. Oversee SD-WAN security to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the network team to integrate security measures into network designs. Provide guidance and support to other IT teams on security best practices. Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Incident Response and Management:
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures. Conduct post-incident analysis to improve security measures and prevent future incidents.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the organization's security posture. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on security practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on network security. In-depth knowledge of network protocols, NGFWs, IPS/IDS, SASE, CASBs, DLP, and SD-WAN security. Strong understanding of secure network design and architecture for large data centers. Experience with enterprise browsers and related security technologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are a plus.
