About the role: Our Capital Markets Sales team helps the financial world reimagine the post-trade middle and back office with our next generation solutions to support functions across portfolio accounting, reconciliations, corporate action processing, exchange traded and OTC cleared derivatives, as well as Global Trading and Operations Solutions for Securities Lending and Compliance and Tax reporting. What you will be doing:
- Sells products and/or services and develops new account relationships.
- Solicits and maintains network of prospects.
- Work closely with prospects to identify pain points, assess their infrastructure, understand their book of business, and evaluate current providers
- Initiates contact with prospective customers to sell targeted FIS products and/or services.
- Works as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts.
- Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets, and competitive intelligence.
- Prepares and presents proposals to clients utilizing FIS resources and tools.
- Negotiates, structures and closes "deals" that meet customer expectations and FIS's ability to deliver; utilizes appropriate company resources per the resources plan to provide product marketing support or specialized product sales expertise.
- Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies.
- Meets sales goals and objectives.
- Build lasting client relationships by meeting high expectations, bringing urgency, motivation, and a results-oriented mindset to every interaction
- Develop opportunities through product-specific deep dives providing technical details on the platform's capabilities.
What you will need:
- Capital Markets domain knowledge for Buy-Side and/or Sell-Side.
- Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public.
- Successful track record of managing the full sales cycle, from opportunity origination to contract close.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to represent the firm with integrity and professionalism.
- A collaborative, confident, high-energy team player with a 'Go' attitude and defined goals.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $120,770.00 - $199,270.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
