Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Support and grow customer relationships within the US Generic industry as the primary contact for all generic customers for Tolmar.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize market penetration and revenue growth within the generic pharmaceutical industry. Identify new market opportunities and trends to stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Build new, bespoke fulfillment channels for generic pharmaceutical products to best support specific patient populations that do not purchase via classic retail points of sale.
  • Work with Tolmar's branded teams to evaluate and, if applicable, execute on the creation of patient support programs for generic programs.
  • Propose and socialize submissions to the pricing committee as a part of regular RFP processes with customers.
  • Ensure adequate payer/GPO coverage of generic drugs sold by Tolmar.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create effective promotional strategies and product offerings.
  • Attend as a key contributor to S&OP meetings and provide sales guidance to ensure adequate supply of product.
  • Analyze sales data, KPIs, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.


  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of company products to further educate healthcare providers.
  • Ensure constant focus on details of sales performance and drive necessary adjustments to changing market conditions.


  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership.
  • Manage, track, and ensure compliance of key support functions: (i) customer service/ordering, (ii) chargeback administration, (iii) rebates and government reporting, (iv) return processing, (v) contracting / trade, (vi) fulfillment, and (vii) channel partner fee and rebate calculations.
  • Develop the budget for the functional area and monitor expenditures.
  • Other related duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of sales principles, methods and techniques.
  • Thorough understanding of retail, mail order, wholesale, and institutional markets.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical market data including IQVIA, chargebacks, rebates.
  • Ability to quickly develop trust and influence business partners.
  • Results-driven and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at various levels of management throughout the company, including executive level.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to communicate at all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate expectations, and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must always maintain confidentiality, as this position requires a high level of responsibility regarding confidential information.
  • Ability to create customer loyalty and deliver on commitments.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize frequently changing needs.

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Ten years of related experience with at least five or more years of US generic commercial sales leadership experience required.


    • Both generic and branded commercialization experience preferred.


  • Experience and relationships in both Long-Term Care and US generic distribution channels.
  • Experience in oversight of chargebacks processing function.
  • Pharmaceutical government pricing experience.
  • Experience with sales into Medicaid populations.
  • Experience with sales into prison pharmacies.


Compensation and Benefits



  • $175,000 - $225,000, depending on experience
