What We Do The Title Assistant job family applies to a wide range of administrative or support duties that broadly support residential, commercial and/or industrial title processes. Collates and gathers information, responds to inquiries, and reviews and validates the accuracy and completeness of data. Provides customer service to external clients and field escrow offices. This role may be found in a production center, branch office, or as part of a title team. May act in a liaison role and work with multiple parties to coordinate the resolution and completion of the title process. May also be in a specialized support role that supports the title process. Employees gains skills and experience and can complete most tasks with little instruction.

What You'll Do

  • Performs a wide range of administrative duties that require experience, skill and knowledge of title guarantees, policies and practices.
  • Creates and maintains files, records and reports; monitor and track workflow
  • Responds to inquiries and gathers information to resolve issues and complete the title process. Communicates information and prepares documentation and reports.
  • Communicates with internal and external groups.

What You'll Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of title industry experience is required with default focus preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Exercises good judgment.
  • Working knowledge of company and/or client operating systems such as Foreclosure Solutions, Inc. (FSI/Eloandata), Integrated Default Solutions (IDS), BKFS/Loansphere (ICE), Data Tree, Data Trace.
  • Familiarity with county recording requirements is preferred.
  • Searching/examining experience preferred. Comprehending title chains is required.
  • Knowledge of the default cycle and experience with Trustee Sale Guarantees, Litigation Guarantees, postsale conveyances to HUD/VA and or Deed in Lieu transactions preferred.

Salary Range: $19.82 - $26.43 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
