Job Description: The Sales Operations Technical Specialist is responsible for the generation of proposals for change orders, work orders, and new business proposal opportunities for both Spokane and Montreal facility. Must have a strong technical facility background in order to recommend solutions and/or alternatives to address the key technical challenges from the prospected opportunity. Will be responsible for the support in the harmonization of the quoting process for both sites. This position also includes maintaining and tracking Requests for Proposals (RFPs), becoming the subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce modifications to customize fields, lead management and report generation. Additionally, this position will be responsible for support for the Business Development/ Outside Sales.
- Support sales team in qualifying potential opportunities with current customers and prospects.
- Work with technical SMEs to improve costing and quoting templates for quoting of new business.
- Work with the Technical Assessment Team and BD to generate costing and scope of work for new business opportunities.
- Work with the BD Team in maintaining effective business development processes and policies and lead the efforts to capture, monitor and trend pipeline life cycle.
- Support the creation of the workflow harmonization between both sites (Montreal and Spokane).
- Monitor and remain current on all amendments and modifications to current contracts, interfacing with corporate legal and tracking status between companies for contracts, amendments and CDAs.
- Review potential opportunity questionnaires and/or RFP's to develop business proposals for all new opportunities for Spokane and Montreal facility in a timely manner.
- Create and develop quotes for change orders and work orders requests from the BD and PM teams for Spokane and Montreal in a timely manner.
- Input and track change orders and work orders in Salesforce.
- Run and coordinate monthly change order and work order meetings with Spokane and Montreal teams.
- Run and coordinate weekly proposal meetings with the Sales Team for status updates on opportunities.
- Review and upload documents as required for all Salesforce opportunities. i.e. working documents, costing sheets, partially/fully executed quotes, PO, etc.
- Create and streamline costing and quoting templates.
- Create and streamline learning tools for change order, work order and proposal request generation.
- Provide support, reports and backup administrator to Salesforce.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience required.
- Pharmaceutical experience desired and FDA Regulated Industry experience desired.
- E-commerce experience desired.
- Demonstrated ability to administer and/or manage proposal management software/tools including but not limited to Salesforece.com and SAP.
- Working knowledge of Sales Force and SAP desired.
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Intermediate level skills with Adobe, Salesforce desired.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hiring Wage: $77,969 - $114,000 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. See full list of benefits below for our complete compensation package.
