The Salesforce Solution Architect for Quote plays a critical role in designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions that align with enterprise standards and business needs. This position focuses on ensuring long-term sustainability and innovation while creating robust solutions that uphold technical integrity within the Salesforce platform.
In this role, the Solution Architect will provide technical leadership and expertise in solution design and implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices, security policies, and enterprise standards. By collaborating closely with business and development teams, the architect will drive the adoption of efficient, scalable, and future-proof solutions, while minimizing technical debt and system inefficiencies. Additionally, the Solution Architect will validate technical designs and mentor development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable solutions.
The primary goal of the Salesforce Solution Architect for Quote is to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions by adhering to architectural best practices. This includes mentoring development teams, participating in demand triage, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards through architecture reviews, validating technical designs, conducting code reviews, and advising on deployment considerations. By staying updated on emerging Salesforce technologies and innovations, the Solution Architect will contribute significantly to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization.
The main job responsibilities include:
*Provide technical guidance to Business Process Owners, Product Owners, and the Innovation Lead in assessing and prioritizing incoming requests to ensure alignment with architectural best practices.
*Review and validate detailed user stories and solution designs from Business Analysts to ensure they meet technical requirements and adhere to architecture best practices.
*Participate in the Architecture Review Board to ensure all solution designs align with enterprise standards and security policies, collaborating with other architects on issue resolution.
*Conduct reviews of configuration and code to maintain technical integrity, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
*Ensure all demands meet organizational access and security requirements, validating that user stories consider broader security needs and are tested accordingly.
*Identify technical debt and inefficiencies, proposing refactoring or optimization strategies to enhance scalability and maintainability.
*Mentor Business Analysts and vendor development teams while staying updated on emerging Salesforce features and evaluating new technologies to drive continuous improvement in solution offerings.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree in enterprise architecture, Information Systems, or Business Administration (is a plus). Minimum 8+ years of relevant working experience, from that at least 4 years of experience as a Solution Architect, software development, technical leadership role or similar role within Salesforce domain covering Conga (Apttus) technology or related fields.
• Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant and Salesforce CPQ Specialist covering Conga (Apttus) technology and Salesforce Application Architect is preferred. Certified Salesforce System Architect is a plus.
• Strong ability to assess complex technical challenges and design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions while evaluating new technologies effectively.
• Proven experience working with Business Process Owners, Product Owners, and development teams to align technical solutions with business needs and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Demonstrated capability to identify and address integration challenges and technical debt, ensuring all designs meet enterprise standards and best practices.
• Provide guidance to Business Analysts and development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay updated with emerging Salesforce technologies and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to innovations, while taking ownership of high-quality solution designs and deployment readiness.
