Director, Compliance Officer (Kraft) Full time/Day shift

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the administration of Corporate Compliance at Valley Health System, including its hospital, home care agency, and growing medical practice. This position is responsible for leadership and direction of the compliance program throughout the System and works collaboratively with system staff/representation and external regulatory agencies facilitating the fulfillment of regulatory requirements.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Allied Health Professions or other related field from an accredited program; An HCCA accreditation, Master's degree or JD preferred * Coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA or related certification.
EXPERIENCE:
* Five (5) years of healthcare compliance auditing work experience with at least two (2) years in an acute care hospital setting. * Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in hospital/physician coding and documentation reviews. * Significant exposure to hospital inpatient/outpatient coding and billing methodologies (DRGs, APC, IC D-9/HC PC S II) and working with electronic health records. * Previous experience with personal computers and software applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Strong presentation skills
