Compliance Intern

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Compliance Intern for our Compliance team.

This collaborative and detail-orientedindividual will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance documentation, supporting compliance reporting, and monitoring and researching regulations.

This position reports to The Vice-President of Environmental, Health & Safety. This role is onsite and is based in Somerville, MA.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the review and maintenance of regulatory compliance documentation (e.g., permits, safety data sheets, audit reports)
  • Support the preparation of internal and client-facing reports related to environmental and safety compliance
  • Conduct research on federal, state, and local EHS regulations and emerging standards
  • Help track deadlines for required filings, inspections, and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance-related initiatives and training
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts and special projects as needed


Basic Requirements:



  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Occupational Safety, Compliance, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • Strong interest in environmental health and safety regulations, or corporate compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
