Clinical Lead Pharmacist - Specialty Services

Residency-Trained. Clinically Focused. Impact-Driven.

Are you a residency-trained pharmacist looking to apply your advanced clinical training in a dynamic, patient-centered specialty care setting? We're seeking a forward-thinking Clinical Lead Pharmacist to bring expert-level care to patients across multiple specialty clinics, including GI, Rheumatology, Neurology, Oncology, Infectious Diseases, and Dermatology.

This role is perfect for pharmacists who have completed a PGY-1 (and ideally PGY-2) and are ready to lead, collaborate, and make a measurable impact through direct patient care, provider support, and interdisciplinary engagement.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high-touch, white-glove pharmaceutical care to patients and employees enrolled in our Specialty Pharmacy Services

  • Float between specialty clinics, providing clinical support across a broad spectrum of complex disease states

  • Collaborate with providers on medication selection, therapy optimization, and access navigation

  • Serve as a mentor and clinical resource to pharmacy staff, residents, and students

  • Engage in quality improvement, data-driven practice advancement, and teaching opportunities

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of a model specialty pharmacy service within an academic health system

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy

  • PGY-1 Residency required; PGY-2 in ambulatory care or specialty area strongly preferred

  • Active Missouri pharmacist license in good standing with Medication Therapy Services (MTS) designation

  • Ability to obtain and maintain ACLS certification

  • Commitment to achieve BPS certification in relevant specialty within 2 years of hire

What We're Looking For:

  • Residency-trained pharmacists with strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience or strong interest in ambulatory care, specialty pharmacy, or chronic disease management

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced academic medical center with a team-first, patient-centered mindset

  • Comfort with payer navigation, specialty medication workflows, and transitions of care

  • Passion for mentorship, continuous learning, and contributing to a culture of innovation

Why Join Us?

  • Be a clinical leader across a wide range of specialty disease states

  • Work alongside fellow residency-trained pharmacists and expert providers in a collaborative setting

  • Gain access to teaching, research, and professional development opportunities

  • Help shape a specialty pharmacy model built on access, quality, and continuity of care

  • Be part of a mission-driven team that puts patients, learners, and clinical excellence first

Step into a role where your residency training becomes a launchpad for impact. Apply now and bring your expertise to a team redefining specialty pharmacy.
