Job Purpose
The HR Data & Technology (HRDT) team is responsible for the configuration, operation, and support of key HR applications. The Compensation Business Process Owner (BPO) will lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of SuccessFactors Compensation and Employee Central (EC) components related to Compensation to ensure the seamless integration and operation of the compensation processes. This role partners with HR business stakeholders to define business requirements, configure solutions, lead testing and implementation efforts, and provide troubleshooting support. The individual in this role will serve as the subject matter expert for compensation processes, ensuring that the solutions align with both HR strategies and operational needs.
Key Accountabilities
- System Configuration & Administration - 25%
- Administer the design, configuration, and deployment of Compensation items and EC components.
- Oversee configuration of compensation structures (merit, bonus, etc.).
- Ensure integration between SuccessFactors Compensation and EC.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Support - 20%
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR, project teams, and IT.
- Collaborate with HR business stakeholders to understand and deliver solutions.
- Provide guidance to HR teams on compensation tools.
- Process Improvement & Strategic Alignment - 15%
- Continuously assess and enhance compensation processes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Translate compensation needs into functional/technical solutions.
- Documentation, Compliance & Change Management - 15%
- Define and document business requirements, flows, and system configs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Supervise change management during updates or rollouts.
- Training & Enablement - 10%
- Provide training and support to HR users.
- Ensure HR teams are proficient in using the module.
- Testing & Quality Assurance - 10%
- Support unit, integration, and UAT testing.
- Ensure systems function as expected and meet quality standards.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources Systems or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a HR Business Analyst/Business Process Owner
- Strong expertise in SuccessFactors Compensation module and Employee Central components
- Extensive experience in configuring, testing, and supporting compensation processes in SuccessFactors.
- Excellent functional analyst skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Able to work independently will minimal supervision
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working Conditions
- General office environment, including ability to use computing equipment and software applications, along with the ability to work remotely and with individuals who may work remotely .
- Must be able to conceptualize data processes and workflows and articulate complex technology processes through self-developed documents and/or direct communication.
