We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Senior Pricing Manager who will be responsible for negotiating prices with customers and resellers, as well as managing pricing-related risk for our partner pricing contracts for our products and services. What you'll do:
As a Senior Pricing Manager you will be responsible for reviewing market data, customer demand, and competitor pricing to determine the optimal prices that will maximize revenue and profit. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure that pricing is aligned with the company's overall sales and marketing goals. You will also lead onboarding and training for team members by onboarding new team members, providing mentoring, coaching, and identifying areas of growth.
How you'll make an impact

  • Provide strategic oversight and decision-making authority for: non-standard pricing requests across global regions; complex reseller RFPs requiring custom pricing strategies; adjustments to standard and regional pricing models; all reseller credit requests and terms proposed in agreements or pricing amendments.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in cross-functional initiatives to evolve pricing frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives, profitability goals, and market competitiveness.
  • Own the operational efficiency of the Jira ticketing system, including configuration, prioritization logic, and performance reporting. Drive enhancements to improve team productivity and SLA adherence.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Product teams to negotiate, finalize, and implement pricing agreements, models, and amendments.
  • Oversee the governance and optimization of pricing structures in MyAdmin, ensuring global standardization and data integrity across all product offerings.
  • Provide expert guidance on the development and ongoing optimization of hardware pricing, rate plans, and feature offerings to support evolving go-to-market strategies.
  • Serve as a senior liaison with AR and Marketing to ensure timely communication and successful execution of non-standard pricing initiatives.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and primary escalation point for complex pricing scenarios and cross-regional strategies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced pricing professionals, sharing expertise and best practices to support their professional development.
  • Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.


What you'll bring to the role

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Pricing Manager or in a similar role.
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and make well-judged decisions.
  • Superior research and analytical skills.
  • High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Leadership experience in a team-oriented workplace.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
  • Success with coaching and development of employees.
  • Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset, has a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Excel.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
