Job Summary

  • Coordinates Housekeeping Services in Patient, Non-Patient and Offsite Areas.
  • Maintains a Safe and Sanitary Working Environment.
  • Purchasing, Receiving and Inventory Control
  • Coordinates all Functions Related to Housekeeping Services
  • Assists the Manager and Other Supervisors as Needed
  • Daily testing of surfaces using the ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) program device.
  • Round daily to assure cleanliness of assigned areas to include checking all public restrooms.
  • Perform daily Patient Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Assure quarterly reviews are given to employees in a timely manner.
  • Fully complete daily shift report.
  • Assure the minimum required discharge patient room inspections are completed daily.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Two years of college preferred.

Experience

  • Two years of experience in housekeeping, hotel, patient transport or another healthcare service providing the same type of, or clerical/administrative, related job duties; and which one of the two years is required to be experience in management, coordinator, or lead experience.
  • Requires general computer skills capable of utilizing the health system's software programs.

Compensation

  • $13.74-$22.44/hr based on previous work experience
