STV is seeking a Commissioning Technician for the Construction Management Group

Duties:

  • Manage the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium sized projects

  • Perform Commissioning design reviews, submittal reviews and closeout document reviews

  • Create pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plans

  • Conduct Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects

  • Perform field observations and functional testing

  • Document and track test results on issue resolution logs

  • Create commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reports

  • Assist in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunities

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of Commissioning

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

  • Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in commissioning

  • Working knowledge of building code, CHPS, and commissioning requirementsANSI commissioning certification (CxA, CxT, BCxP, Certified Commissioning Professional)

  • Extensive knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems

Education:

Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably inmechanical or electrical engineering, architecture or construction management

Compensation Range:

$98,010.59 - $130,680.78
