Note to Applicants: Position is eligible for hybrid work subject to University policy. Job Summary: The Alumni Student Recruitment Program Coordinator coordinates the development, planning, outreach, scheduling, implementation, execution, follow-up, and budget of the National Alumni Association's Alumni Scholarship Assistance Program. Advises upcoming freshman students on admission applications, registration, scholarship information, enrollment, housing, and financial aid. Serves as liaison between the National Alumni Association, campus partners, external constituent groups, and alumni chapters. Additional Department Summary: Responsible for the development, planning, outreach, scheduling, implementation, execution, follow-up, and budgeting of the National Alumni Association's Discovering Bama and Alumni Scholarship Assistance Program (A$AP). Responsible for identifying, recruiting and assisting the enrollment of qualified undergraduate students, both in-state and out-of-state, at The University of Alabama. May also include supervision of student(s), evaluation of programs, and reporting. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher and one (1) year of experience. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work some evening and weekends. Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies. Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of National Alumni Association and UA scholarships. Understanding of the mission of The University of Alabama and the National Alumni Association. Strong organizational skills. Ability to lead and manage groups through planning, development, and implementation of the program. General supervisory skills demonstrated through experience. Strong computer skills and knowledge, including basic desktop computing skills (Windows, Excel, etc.) and general knowledge of Banner, ARGOs and ASAS (Alabama Scholarship Awarding System). General financial accounting skills. Ability to review and analyze basic financial reports along with institutional services (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of institutional and departmental policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, education, marketing, business, or related and two (2) years of experience in a comparable position.
