Vascular Sonographer - Per Diem - Encinitas

This is a Casual (Per Diem) position based at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, offering 10-hour variable shifts, including both day and night hours. The role is primarily (90%) focused on covering on-call shifts from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM, with an expectation to work at least 2 on-call shifts per pay period-one of which must fall on a weekend (Friday-Sunday).

In addition, the individual must provide availability for at least 4 shifts per month, with a minimum of 2 on weekends. Standard shift times are 6:00 AM-4:45 PM or 2:00 PM-12:45 AM. This position also serves as coverage for staff absences due to sick calls or vacations. Flexibility is essential, including availability on weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications:

• RVT or RVS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years' experience
• Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs)
