Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will be joining a team of personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ is a mission-led innovation company that works with the USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the warfighter.

We are seeking Contract Managers knowledgeable in U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command contracting and procurements. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing contract files as well as demonstrated ability to coordinate between Government organizations This position requires an individual who can work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure program success.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.



Responsibilities

    Assist the Government to execute source selections with coordinating functional meeting requests, developing source selection documentation (e.g., source selection plan, acquisition strategy, non-disclosure agreements, etc.), and reviewing and drafting proposal evaluations.
  • Assist Government Contracting Officers and contract specialists in executing various contracting actions as well as providing contracts guidance and advise.
  • Advise and assist with IDIQ contracts.
  • Support the execution of acquisition strategies.
  • other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency preparing contract files for review.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate between Government organizations and summarize information for presentations.
  • Experience in all levels of management on contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy and problem solving.
  • Expertise in leading the development of contractual and pricing strategies as well as funding and expenditure profiles.
  • Experience providing general contract office support, including government taskers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • TS/SCI Eligibility; #qinetiqclearedjob


Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command contracting regulations and procurement procedures.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
