Overall Purpose

The Sr. Technology Transformation Program Director is accountable for planning, executing, and managing large-scale business transformation initiatives across the technology organization. This role oversees the Technology organization's transformation programs to help grow the business line, support winning performance, and executional discipline across the function. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and leadership to ensure the success of transformation efforts. This role may have a specialized area of focus, including analytics or financials.

Essential Functions

  • Implements the Transformation Change across the technology organization by managing the Enterprise Transformation Agenda (Development, Delivery, Governance, Financial Maturity).

  • Drives the implementation of large-scale transformation initiatives by establishing clear goals, timelines, and metrics to measure success. Partners with leaders across the organization to ensure full delivery of value from design to execution, fostering organization-wide buy-in and engagement.

  • Coordinates Functional Transformation Efforts. Acts as a central leader in coordinating cross-functional risk transformation projects, working closely with function heads to ensure alignment, remove barriers, etc.

  • Develops and executes roadmaps for transformation initiatives, including timelines, milestones, and managing objective and key results (OKRs), driving accountability through transparency and visibility.

  • Oversees the transformation agenda ensuring disciplined execution and operational efficiency, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time in accordance with the organization's business priorities.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to enhance visibility into technology initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Supports the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Area of Focus: Finance

  • Aligns IT financial strategy with the overall transformation roadmap and business priorities.

  • Partners with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and financial governance.

  • Leads the strategic alignment of headcount plans with the transformation roadmap and technology goals.

  • Forecasts workforce needs against budget, transformation milestones, and resource requirements.

  • Develops and maintains capacity planning models to ensure alignment of resources with project demand.

  • Identifies and implements industry best practices in financial management, capacity planning, and demand forecasting.

  • Serve as a key liaison between IT, Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership, effectively communicating transformation plans and progress to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Manages the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance financial operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in business, Program Management and/or Computer Science or related field.

  • 15 years of experience in program management, management consulting, or corporate strategy and development.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing muti-functional, large-scale projects across an enterprise.

  • Ability to influence and drive enterprise-wide strategic decisions with significant impact to the company.

  • Detail oriented and able to create insights for the company's leadership.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to deal effectively with ambiguity and change.

  • Highly engaged, self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to balance achieving business results, fostering collaboration, and influencing business strategies.

  • Extensive experience in risk management, data governance and financial acumen.

  • Deep understanding of financial services, payments, fraud and risk management, analytics, and technology sectors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional higher-level education such as an MBA.

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers. Employees must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

The base pay scale for this position in:

New York, NY in USD per year is: $200,000 - $240,000.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
