WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in the QC lab/Blood Center. You will supervise staff that perform moderate to advanced testing, processing, and preparation of pathogen reduced platelet blood products for release to area hospitals for patient use. You will hire and supervise staff, participate in education and training activities, and provide support, development and leadership guidance to line staff; while ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures in the work area. Standard Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:30am, on call work required Pay Information: The salary range for this position is $85k-$90k Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
