Primary Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Oversee the daily inventory functions including, performing regular cycle counts, and reconciling any discrepancies (using root cause problem solving) in the inventory system.

  • Supervision & Training: Supervise, train, and develop a team of cycle counters, ensuring they adhere to safety standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate records of stock movement, monitor inventory transactions, and ensure that inventory systems reflect real-time data.

  • Inventory Audits: Lead regular physical inventory counts and audits, ensuring compliance with company protocols, identifying trends, and mitigating inventory discrepancies.

  • Report Generation: Prepare regular inventory reports for management, including variance reports, stock aging reports, and inventory turnover metrics.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve inventory-related issues promptly, including damaged goods, misplaced items, or incorrect entries.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members follow safety guidelines and regulations in handling inventory, equipment, and warehouse procedures.

  • Continuous Improvement: Work with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing inventory and resolving discrepancies.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess inventory challenges and develop effective solutions.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, move, and organize heavy items as needed; standing and walking for extended periods in a warehouse environment.

  • Knowledge of Safety Protocols: Understanding of warehouse safety practices, OSHA regulations, and inventory control best practices.

Preferred Requirements

  • Certifications: Experience with ERP Systems, Six Sigma, or Lean inventory management certification is a plus.

  • Experience: Previous experience with inventory management in a high-volume warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $21/hr - $26/hr.
