Logistics Operator Trainee

Job Summary: Entry role focused on training and assisting higher level logistics operators. Primary focus on stockroom and material handling. Emphasis on learning and development. Primary Responsibilities:
Essential Skills: Subject Matter Exposure. Computer Understanding. Mechanical Aptitude. Housekeeping. Teamwork. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to guarded moving mechanical parts. Works in a temperature controlled environment and is occasionally exposed to outdoor environmental conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to push, pull, stretch, bend, kneel, and stoop. The employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and will occasionally climb stairs and ladders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to properly lift 50 lbs. and move up to 100 pounds or more using appropriate moving devices and may lift and carry up to 65 pounds, 60% or more of work time. Job Qualifications: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and follow instructions. Must have basic math and computer skills and the ability to operate a forklift and basic hand-operated material handling equipment.
