Summary Responsible for installing and maintaining instrumentation for monitoring and controlling wastewater system. Also responsible for installing and maintaining motor controls and electrical systems for the wastewater treatment plant. Pay Range: $19.90 - $28.14 (Depending on qualifications and experience) Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

This job classification is in a Skill-based Pay program and will follow the guidelines for advancement according to the approved assessment plan. Physical Requirements / Work Environment The incumbent works typically in an indoor and outdoor environment and may be subjected to extremes of inclement weather, noxious odors and fumes, as well as exposure to the hazards of high-voltage electrical shock, raw sewage, oxygen deficient and poisonous atmospheres, communicable diseases, high levels of vibration and noise, moving machine parts and crush hazards. Physical tasks may include lifting, crawling, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, scaffolding, descending underground and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. | |
