In this role, you will be effectively managing projects and customer support for a fast-paced, exciting oncology pharmaceutical account. You will have the unique opportunity to build relationships with established and new clients across a range of U.S. oncology patient advocacy work, branded direct-to-consumer campaign execution, U.S. regulatory/data/pipeline internal and external communications, thought leadership, influencer engagement, and social/digital media. You will partner with smart, engaged customers who appreciate attention to detail, collaboration, and quick thinking. You will:

  • Support team leads in development and execution of variety of communication plans
  • Act as day-to-day client support for core clients
  • Own projects and support team on tactical execution, ensuring timely delivery of flawless materials
  • Project manage various conferences/events throughout the year
  • Oversee more junior team members on execution of projects and manage/delegate admin processes
  • Robust, cross-functional project management and collaboration with shared services, vendors, media and other third-parties
  • Manage and oversee account management activities (budget, monthly billing process, timelines, action plans, agendas, call notes)

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and/or communications industries
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment, meeting internal and external deadlines
  • Proven experience in client relations, plan development and budget management
  • Ability to work within and manage a team
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and third-parties
  • Drive to be a self-starter/self-motivator

Desired Requirements:

  • Agency experience
  • Experience and interest in healthcare communications; experience with branded product communications and in advocacy relations
  • Experience in event planning/management

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $110Kto $120K. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
